Leeds University students take on 24-hour pole dancing marathon

The group, which aims to fight the stigma and prejudice surrounding pole dancing and highlight the power, skill and talent needed for the workout, completed the challenge – where a Vertical Fitness members had to be dancing at all times – to raise money for Leeds-based charity Basis Yorkshire. Student Laura Warwick. The charity offers information, safety and support to female and transgender women in the sex industry, who live or work in the city.
