Three members of China’s national pole-dancing team performed a routine as the temperature dropped to 50 degrees centigrade below zero in Beiji village, China’s northernmost village located in Heilongjiang province on December 24.


It isn’t the first time the team has performed in such extreme weather conditions. They were last seen performing in snow about the same time last year.


This time, Cao Nuo, Sun Wenzhu and He Bi showed their moves to drum up support for the upcoming 2015 World Pole Dance Championships which will be held in Beijing.


China officially joined the World Pole Dance Federation in 2010 and the national team competed in their first event in October 2011. They qualified for the semi-finals and won the first medal in the history of Chinese pole dancing.
