I don’t know about you, but I actually love me some good ol’ eggnog and truthfully because I’m not vegan I do like making the homemade stuff because the nutritional content of eggs are through the roof. But here’s the thing, many of you ARE vegan and some of you are just straight up allergic or intolerant to bananas – like me. Which brought me to create your Quickie video of the week:

Vegan Banana-Free Eggnog

(And seriously you’ll convince even your biggest critics on this one)

So how do you know if you’re intolerant to bananas? Well here are some possible symptoms to watch out for (and this goes with any food intolerance):

  • Headaches
  • Sinus pain or ache
  • Itchy tongue
  • Mood changes
  • Upset stomach

Other people will chose to stay away from bananas because they’re trying to avoid sugar where possible. So this Vegan Banana-Free Eggnog will certainly do the trick.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 can chilled coconut milk (very important)
  • 1 frozen ripe avocado
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp allspice
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp organic vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon
  • Add 2 drops peppermint essential oil (I love Divine Essence or Living Libations)


  1. Blend & Enjoy.
