The singer, who topped the leader board with Giovanni Pernice, continued dancing after that and even used her skill again in 2016 when she starred in in The Naked Truth.

The play, directed by Lisa Riley, is a comedy about five women who take up pole dancing to raise money for a breast cancer charity.

Faye will be more than prepared for any Strictly related injuries after suffering burns on the pole.

“The better you get, the more friction burns you get."

She said previously: “I’ve had a training session today and I’m red raw all the way across my inner thighs, and I can see bruising coming up already.

“I’ve been doing a Downward Crucifix and Martini Glass pose. All good fun, but really hard work and it’s painful.
